Making Manchos all started with my husband, Randy. Being the modest man that he is, he asked me to sew him something that would cover him while changing out of his wetsuit. I had seen all sorts of things at the beach. From velcro skirts to giant beach blanket robes. I knew I could make something he would love!
As it turns out, not only does he love his Mancho, but all of our friends, family and anyone we encounter at the beach loves them!
There’s always someone checking out the person changing, just in case their towel drops and they get a show! When the surf is good, the weather isn’t always good. No one likes getting naked when it’s cold and especially being wet and cold. You need a Mancho to get your bod warm and dry before you put on your poly-pro and beanie. It’s not always dry enough to build a fire!
